This project is working on a government program US Citizen or Permanentresident status is a must. Responsibilities: Strong background in developing ALC programs with the ability to convert legacy ALC code to JAVA. This position involves collaboration with ALC developers support Java developers and contributing to the modernization of existing systems within an agile team.
Develop Assembly Language Coding (ALC) programs using ALC coding standards.
Design develop and maintain Mainframe ALC & Job Control Language (JCL) to meet support and project requirements.
Execute unit tests and integration plans/scripts to ensure application changes meet technical specifications.
Interface with business and IT teams to understand and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
Collaborate with ALC developers to convert legacy ALC code to JAVA.
Analyze document and convert complex ALC modules to Java.
Support Java developers by explaining ALC code functioning and logic.
Document existing logic and contribute to the ALC to Java conversion process.
Work within an agile team to modernize existing systems.
Experience with full systems development life cycle (SDLC) engineering methodologies.
Requirements:
58 years of collective experience in developing applications in ALC.
Focus on defect resolution.
Prior experience working on Agile teams.
Ability to obtain IRS Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) Clearance.
IRS/BMF/IMF/CADE 2 experience preferred.
Bachelors Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for nondegreed candidates.
