Position Summary
Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy Department of Clinical & Administrative Sciences Schaumburg IL is seeking applications for a fulltime teaching faculty position with clinical responsibilities. Position responsibilities include teaching didactic courses establishing innovative clinical practice serving as a preceptor and role model for students mentoring pharmacy residents collaborative clinical research or other scholarly activity and service to the department college and community. Clinical practice site is a multispecialty clinic in northwest suburb of Chicago. Collegesupported professional development is available to assist the successful candidates development as a clinical educator. This position provides a unique opportunity for building a new academic pharmacy program employing various instructional design technologies and pedagogical approaches creating innovative patientcare services shaping the scholarship agenda for the department and establishing postgraduate residency training programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Successful candidates must possess the Doctor of Pharmacy degree have completed postdoctoral residency (PGY1 training or equivalent experience and possess or be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Illinois.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with PGY2 training and/or experience in ambulatory care are preferred. Board certification and an established record of successful teaching and scholarship are also preferred.
