The Awty International School seeks a fulltime Upper School Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies Teacher for the 202526 school year. The school is looking for an energetic creative person who interacts with students and colleagues in a professional manner and is eager to become part of our Science Department team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teaching in a diverse multicultural environment. Minimum Requirements: - Five years of teaching experience
- BA or equivalent in a science field preferably with some biology in the degree
Ideal candidate: - At least 3 years teaching experience in 612 grade
- A masters degree with a concentration in science
- IB Environmental systems and societies experience
- Ability to work collaboratively within the Science Department
- Bilingual preferably in English and French or English and Spanish
- Able to reach students through diverse teaching methods
- Comfortable doing and designing labs
- Has experience with and is committed to a rigorous academic program
