The Mission
In our international team of multidisciplinary squads and be part of building the nextgeneration banking applications in the Daily Banking tribe. As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing scalable resilient and realtime banking processes providing near realtime information to millions of ING savings account holders in the Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to work on the technical backbone of our frontend Lit applications and Java APIs which are used by millions of customers across various channels.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Innovate create and improve our digital channels and customer experience;
- Collaborate with business colleagues UX designers visual designers and product owners;
- Develop backend and frontend solutions using technologies such as Kotlin Java Spring Maven Azure Prisma Oracle Kafka Lit Webcomponents and NPM;
- Drive (test) automation continuous delivery and deployment using tools like Azure DevOps SonarQube Fortify OpenShift and Kubernetes;
- Take ownership and be responsible for refining coding testing and deploying your work in onpremise and cloud environments;
- Lead development experience is a plus;
- Solve technical and functional challenges with selfmotivation and an itch for innovation;
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and embrace an agile way of working.
How to Succeed:
- Strong proficiency in software development (backend and frontend) with a proven track record 6 years);
- Thorough understanding of (test) automation continuous delivery and deployment tools and pipelines;
- DevOps mindset with the ability to refine code test and deploy your own work;
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual/architectural understanding;
- Interest and vision in recent trends in software development and technology;
- Excellent social and communication skills being a sparring partner for business colleagues.
