Job Description
Clean Harbors is searching for a licensed reliable and safety orientedI&E Technicianto join ourDeer Park TXteam! TheElectrical and Instrumentation Technicianwill be responsible forperforming handson instrument checks calibrations and PLC Ladder Logic along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required
- Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
- Installs cabling power distribution systems and motor control centers
- Services and replaces motors and lighting
- Performs general electrical maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors
- HS Diploma OR Equivalent required
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License or if NCCER have the hours to sit for the exam
- PLC Ladder Logic troubleshooting and/or programming
- VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) Programming knowledge preferred
- Experience reading blueprints and electronic schematics
- Proficiency reading process and instrumentation diagrams (PIDs)
- Knowledge of Data Control Systems (DCS)
- Experience with 480v and below
- Lift up 50lb climbing ladders stooping bending standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
