Job Description

Data Management Engineer

SG2 Recruiting is partnering with InteliDIne seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Management Engineer to join our team. Thisfully remoterole offersthe opportunity to contribute to the full lifecycle of data solutions from architecture and development to deployment and support within a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be key in building and maintaining our data infrastructure ensuring its scalability performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using ETL processes.
  • Architect and engineer data solutions considering performance capacity and production deployment standards.
  • Implement data modeling schema configuration data quality and standardization techniques.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PL/SQL SQL or Shell scripting.
  • Work within a big data or data lake environment leveraging your expertise to optimize data storage and processing.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Proactively learn new technical concepts and demonstrate technical solutions standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and an IRS MBI clearance.
  • Proven experience in software and systems engineering across all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting engineering performance and capacity planning production deployment standards product integration product support product usage analysis and data management environment setup.
  • Handson experience developing ETL and data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling schema configuration data quality and standardization techniques.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL SQL or Shell scripting.
  • Experience working in a big data or data lake environment.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts present technical solutions adhere to standards and best practices and communicate effectively with diverse functional groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise with AWS cloud application development Trifacta Axon Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) Enterprise Data Management MDM COTS Solutions System Integrator (SI) relationships Enterprise Reference 360 and Enterprise Data Governance.
  • Experience with data lake or data warehouse technologies particularly Databricks.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloudnative services for big data storage and processing.
  • Experience designing and developing largescale distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of scaling performance optimization and scheduling.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail documentation and SOP definition.
