Job Description
Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. producer of YellaWood brand PressureTreated Pine is seekingLumber Taggers and Remanufacturing Machine Operatorsfor the location inTuscumbia Alabama. This is a full time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package. Hours are 7am3pm additional hours to be expected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Loads/unloads materials
Stacks/moves lumber
Assists in assembling fence panels and other products using nail gun
Attaches product tag labels to merchandise material or product with hand held industrial stapler machine
Checks items for proper identification
Reports quality deficiencies shortages and/or damaged goods
Keeps record of inventory and check items for proper identification
Ensures continued movement of lumber on conveyors
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Previous production experience preferred
Lumber experience a plus!
