Job Description
ThreatConnect is seeking a Director of Engineering for our Risk Quantification (RQ) team. This critical role in the organization will be responsible for leading the charge on continuing our cyber risk quantification product that leverages big data analytics and high throughput processing. You will help drive and deliver on the technical strategy and roadmap and will be responsible for mentoring the team. You will work crossfunctionally with your peers in the engineering organization as well as leaders in sales and product. Your impact is not bounded and you will be enabled to engage and collaborate with various teams and ensure your products success. We are a remotefirst company so you must bring your excellent verbal and written communication skills to bear when you are working with your engineering teams and crossfunctional teams across the globe.
The Product
ThreatConnect Risk Quantifier (RQ) enables organizations to rapidly and in a datadriven defensible manner calculate the impact of a cyber attack in financial terms. RQ also provides prioritizations for where the business and security teams should invest resources (people process and technology) based on financial metrics and ROI. Bringing together cyber loss and cyber attack data RQ links the technical and business parts of an organization together to make informed datadriven decisions that drive risk mitigations.

Lead engineering teams to deliver results consistently and sustainably while holding a high bar for and quality
Independently identify and realize strategies that deliver significant value to our customers and business

Partner closely with your respective Design Product and GotoMarket counterparts to build bestinclass products and bring them to market
Build a bestinclass engineering team. Coach mentor and create an environment where your team can do their best work and deliver for the business.
Play an integral role in influencing and shaping ThreatConnectss engineering culture and strategy
Required Skills
7 years of engineering leadership experience with deep experience working on complex products in a highgrowth environment
10 years of experience in major programming languages with significant .NET experience and frontend technologies (e.g. React Angular)
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles technologies and frameworks (e.g. encryption authentication network security etc.
Passion for leading coaching and building an inspired team through setting vision unlocking potential and driving compassionate accountability
Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity available data speed and quality
Operates at multiple altitudes from developing vision and strategy to driving
Have high EQ; be evenkeeled flexible and able to quickly adapt to unexpected changes
Experience working with software governance and agile methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of risk management principles processes and metrics
Have enough technical knowledge to enough to gain the respect of software engineers
