Job Description
We are a union contractor in the greater Columbus area seeking an HVAC Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems with the ability to troubleshoot repair and maintain heating ventilation and air conditioning units. This role requires a handson approach and the capability to work independently in various environments ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.
Job Description:
- Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems in Industrial and Commercial settings
- Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on heating and cooling equipment
- Conduct repairs on appliances related to HVAC systems ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
- Document all service calls repairs and maintenance performed on equipment
- Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication
Skills:
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems repair
- Experience in field service operations related to HVAC technology
- Strong understanding of Hydronic Heating and Air Conditioning systems and their components
- Ability to plumb and perform necessary adjustments for optimal system performance
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques as they relate to HVAC systems
- Competence in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
