Job Description
Location:Wilson NC or Hays KS (Onsite)
Job type:Direct Hire
The Physical Therapist will provide essential therapeutic care assessing patients physical conditions creating treatment plans and assisting patients in regaining functionality and independence. In this role the therapist will work closely with nursing staff and families to ensure consistent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions developing treatment plans and providing physical therapy treatments.
- Educating nursing staff and patient families on followthrough programs to support patient progress.
- Communicating patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members scheduling patients and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Documenting patient care in compliance with regulatory licensing and accrediting standards.
- Ensuring that all equipment and workspaces are safe and orderly.
- Adhering to the Companys Code of Business Conduct Corporate Compliance Agreement and relevant professional standards.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
YOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.
- Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Active unrestricted physical therapy license in North Carolina.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- 2 years of experience working with adult populations.
