Visy is powering the circular economy closing the loop between packaging recycling and remanufacturing. We believe materials are not truly recycled until theyre made into something newand it all starts with Visy Recycling. As Australias largest recycler our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper cardboard glass plastics and metals from households and businesses and locally remanufacture them back into new sustainable packaging.
- Location: Heidelberg VIC
- Reporting to: Site Manager Banyule
- Key Information: Lead and support a team ensure safety compliance drive continuous improvement and achieve operational KPIs.
What Youll Do
- Supervise and facilitate daily shift activities for the production team.
- Foster a culture of safety ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Drive operational efficiency in line with KPIs and budget.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet delivery quality and safety targets.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Provide leadership and support to the production team.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues effectively.
- Support maintenance programs and troubleshoot machine issues
What You Will Bring:
- Experience in managing a team in a process manufacturing environment.
- Prior Production and/or Site Supervisor experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP Kronos and Microsoft Office.
