Job Description


Locations: Boyertown Wilson/Wyomissing/Mohnton Exeter/Daniel Boone area in PA
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Zip Code for BCIU: 19612 (multiple sites with varied zip codes)
Position Type: FullTime CommunityBased and Classroom

Start Date: December 2 2024
End Date: June 13 2025 (with possible extension to ESY)
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM 35 hours/week)

Position Overview
We are seeking three dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support preschool and daycare locations in the Wilson/Wyomissing/Mohnton area as well as Boyertown. This role combines both communitybased services in the Exeter/Daniel Boone area and classroom days working with children in daycares preschools and through community referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and smallgroup speech and language therapy to children within preschool and daycare environments.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child.
  • Document progress update treatment goals and maintain accurate records in compliance with PA DOE standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers caregivers and staff to ensure continuity of care and support childrens development in speech and language skills.

Qualifications

  • License: Active PA Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • Certification: Department of Education (DOE) certification in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience: Prior experience with early childhood populations in educational or daycare settings is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication collaboration and documentation skills with a compassionate approach to supporting childrens development.
