Job Description
Clean Crop Technologies Inc. (Clean Crop) stops crop loss at the source removing pathogens from seeds before they are planted increasing yields reducing infield waste and improving food safety. Clean Crops Clean Current technology combines electricity and foodgrade gases to create cold plasma inactivating a broad spectrum of contaminants from seed surfaces in a dry automated and residuefree process. Role & Responsibilities:
- Work safely in a BSL1 laboratory environment
- Perform established and approved microbiological protocols e.g. plate counting
- Prepare reagents and perform other laboratory maintenance duties
- Assist with experimental trials including running the cold plasma prototype system and recording trial data
- Record all data and results with accuracy and responsibility. Be able to present data to a technical audience with clarity and brevity
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Food Science Microbiology Chemistry or related fields
- Prior experience with lab benchwork ideally analytical chemistry or microbiology
- Innovative spirit and curiosity to improve protocol efficiency safety and speed
- Hardworking goaloriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced work environment with attention to detail
- Creative problemsolving mindset outspoken team player
- Must be able to lift boxes and materials up to 50lbs
