Responsible for the quality assurance of specific SaaS product features including Cloud WAF GLSB and ABP modules. This role also involves establishing an efficient automation testing process to cover the majority of testing requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute test cases for functional modules.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Collaborate closely with developers to identify track and resolve defects.
Work with support teams to analyze and address customerreported issues.
Review user guides and deployment documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Required Skills:
Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience.
Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP Routing Switching and L7 application protocols (e.g. DNS HTTP/HTTPS).
Cybersecurity Expertise: Familiarity with technologies such as WAF API Security Bot Protection UEBA and device fingerprinting is preferred.
Cloud and Virtualization: Handson experience with virtualization platforms (VMware HyperV) and cloud providers (AWS Azure GCP).
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python Shell JavaScript or Go. Experience with frameworks like Robot Framework is a plus.
QA Methodology: Solid understanding of QA processes testing methodologies and software development best practices.
Testing Tools: Proficiency in using traffic load and protocol testing tools including Linux utilities or commercial testing equipment.
Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities.
Personal Traits: Highly motivated responsible quick learner and an excellent team player.
Education:
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $80000 $110000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
