Textiles Teacher FullTime Role in Solihull (April/September 2025

Textiles Teacher Required for an Innovative and Engaging Department

Our client is looking for a passionate and creative Textiles Teacher to join a prestigious mixed school in Solihull. The successful candidate will teach Textiles at KS3 and KS4 developing students skills in design fabric manipulation and textile arts. This is a great opportunity for both experienced Textiles Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a forwardthinking department with excellent resources.

School Information:

  • A wellequipped textiles department featuring a range of sewing machines fabrics and technology to enhance teaching and student learning.
  • Students have the opportunity to develop their practical skills and participate in textilesrelated events and exhibitions.

What Were Looking For:

  • Qualified Textiles Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4.
  • A passion for textiles and the ability to inspire students to develop their creativity through design and fabric manipulation.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to support students of all abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering innovative and engaging textiles lessons.
  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE or equivalent).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
