WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a highly motivated and engaging Payroll Manager with strong knowledge andexperience of managing and delivering payroll end to end across several groups. This will includemanual calculations payroll reporting dealing with queries and processing starters and leavers.Ensure all statutory duties and obligations associated with payroll i.e pension tax and NI are met andpaid in an accurate and timely manner. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting andConsolidation the Payroll Manager will work closely with the HR and Finance teams.
Essential Minimum of 5 years experience of completing full UK payroll process
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritise to achieve objectives. Ability to useinitiative to identify possible improvements and work together to define and implement solutions.Keen to learn new tasks and processes as the business requires. Great communication skills bothwritten and oral are essential in this role as the PayrollManager will be a main point of contact for payrelatedqueries. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is a must.

THE ROLE:
Work with the Finance business partners team to ensure all journals posted correctly and any payroll reconciliations completed.
Ensuring of timely and accurate processing of employee payroll including deductions
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements relating to payroll
Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly
Work with Finance business partners team to ensure all journals posted correctly and any payroll reconciliations completed.
Complete Net wages and PAYE reconciliation on the balance sheet
Liaise with external parties including HMRC Courts Student Loan companies etc
Act principal point of contact for the pension administrator and communicating with the HR department as necessary
Continually strive to improve the efficiencies of payroll operations and work processes
To assist with the introduction and launch of new Payroll System
Knowledge of dealing payroll bureaus desirable
Ensure all Year End processes completed in a timely manner and support the annual external audit
Oversees the audit payroll entries and reconcile payment to ensure accuracy and policy compliance
Demonstrates indepth knowledge of UK & French domestic payroll social tax reporting issues.
Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of accounting entries as it relates to payroll including posting journals and reconciling the payroll control accounts
