Custodian

Seeking Custodians for automotive facility in Flat Rock. Offer Union Benefits once qualify. This position is temporary for employee on leave.

Overview:

• $20.21/hour

Shifts:

• 1st shift 6a2:30p

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eightstep cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls windows furniture baseboards and other items to maintain a clean safe environment for patients visitors and staff.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal state and county guidelines.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers fellow employees and others.

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Floor cleaning
• Fork truck operation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a janitor custodian cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
• Frequent lifting carrying pushing or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must have reliable transportation
