We are looking for a collision repair technician to join our team in our rapidly growing facility! The right candidate will possess ICAR certifications the ability to follow OEM procedures and a strong willingness to learn. The daytoday duties of this role include collision parts repair/replacement proper use of materials time/workload management and effective proper communication.
Responsibilities
Review repair orders and OEM procedures parts required for repairs perform 100 disassembly and review file handlers estimate notes; follow repair guidelines as laid out by manufacturer; notify shop foremanof any supplemental repairs and need for reassessment with file handler.
Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure quality repair.
Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills including OEM repair procedures and guidelines.
Perform work as outlined on repair planswith efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacturerstandards.
100 disassembly and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
Qualifications
Welding suspension framework experience a plus OR willing to learn/train
ICAR Certifications Preferred but not Required
Certifications listed above or equivalent experience and eagerness to improve
Valid drivers license
Proper tools to perform assigned tasks
