Responsibilities:
- Facilitate instruction and work closely with classroom teachers to support student learning.
- Utilize the computerbased curriculum to assist students during lessons and activities.
- Monitor student behavior during class time and daily transitions.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide oneonone or small group assistance to students as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Work with other staff members including teachers administrators and support teams.
- Participate in schoolwide activities and events.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
- Experience assisting in a classroom environment.
- Experience working collaboratively with a team.
- Skilled in fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Experience with monitoring student behavior.
- Experience with facilitating instruction.
- Experience adapting general lessons to meet individual student needs.
