About the Role
A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Packaging Engineering Manager to oversee packaging development process optimization and new product innovation. This role will focus on packaging design material selection cost management and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong food or beverage packaging background and proven expertise in leading packaging projects from concept to commercialization.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead packaging development from concept to commercialization ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
Manage packaging cost design material selection and sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate with HQ teams in Korea suppliers and crossfunctional teams including Marketing R&D Operations and Supply Chain.
Conduct scaleup tests and oversee full production implementation of packaging designs.
Research and evaluate new packaging materials and technologies for cost performance and environmental impact.
Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) for all packagingrelated projects.
Stay updated on packaging industry trends innovations and competitive benchmarks.
Experience You Will Need
Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering Food Science or related field.
10 years of experience in packaging development and commercialization within the food industry.
Handson expertise in packaging testing labeling and compliance standards.
Strong background in crossfunctional collaboration with R&D Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
Proven track record in product commercialization and packaging cost management.
Bilingual in Korean preferred but not required.
