Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Release Train Engineer (RTE) to drive Agile excellence within our organization. As an RTE you will play a pivotal role in leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) facilitating PI Planning optimizing and promoting DevOps best practices. You will work with senior stakeholders product teams and business owners to ensure continuous value delivery and alignment with business objectives.
This role is ideal for an Agile leader with deep SAFe knowledge strong facilitation skills and a passion for enabling highperforming teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. PI (Program Increment) Planning &
Facilitate PI Planning events ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Ensure ART readiness by collaborating with Product Owners Business Owners and Solution Architects.
Drive continuous backlog refinement to align work with business goals.
2. Agile Release Train (ART) Management
Track and manage feature completion using Kanban.
Identify track and remove impediments affecting ART .
Facilitate ART syncs system demos inspect & adapt sessions.
Manage ART risks and dependencies using the ROAM technique.
3. DevOps & Continuous Delivery
Champion DevOps best practices ensuring CI/CD pipeline efficiency.
Define and enforce an ARTlevel Definition of Done for product releases.
Plan and oversee milestones for product releases and integrations.
4. Business & Stakeholder Engagement
Support economic decisionmaking by facilitating feature prioritization for Agile teams.
Collaborate with Business Owners and stakeholders to enhance communication and alignment.
Coordinate crossART planning to optimize customer outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Business IT or related field (minimum 3 years).
SAFe Agile RTE Certification (mandatory).
4 years of experience in Agile environments (RTE Scrum Master Program Manager).
Strong understanding of technology systems and Agile process management.
Experience in coaching teams managing conflict and working with senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in Agile frameworks backlog refinement risk management and continuous delivery.
Telecom industry experience is an advantage.
Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Business, IT, or related field (minimum 3 years). SAFe Agile RTE Certification (mandatory). 4+ years of experience in Agile environments (RTE, Scrum Master, Program Manager). Strong understanding of technology, systems, and Agile process management. Experience in coaching teams, managing conflict, and working with senior stakeholders. Proficiency in Agile frameworks, backlog refinement, risk management, and continuous delivery.
