Job Description
Roles & responsibilities
- Preparation and of test plans for applications that are being developed.
- Writing and review of all testingrelated documents.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
- Identify report and track software defects and issues.
- Perform functional performance security and regression Smoke testing of software products.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers and project managers to understand project goals and ensure testing aligns with project timelines.
- Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders and work on their resolution.
- Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teams.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools techniques and methodologies.
Requirements
- 510 years of testing experience with a BE / BSc educational qualification with not less than 60 marks.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies (i.e. unit testing white box testing black box testing etc).
- Expertise on Manual Testing
- Expertise on Excel and Word
- Knowledge of using automated testing tools such as Load Runner is not must but will be an added advantage
- Experience in Windows and web technology products.
- Knowledge of SQL Server databases.
- Commitment to quality and willingness to work in a highpressure environment.
- Experience in testing financial and sales applications is desirable.
