Job Description
Service Technician Greens at Schumaker Pond (Salisbury MD)
WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a qualified Service Technician to join our team at Greens at Schumaker Pond in Salisbury MD. This role involves responding to maintenance requests performing preventative maintenance and preparing units for movein.
Compensation & Schedule:
- $20 per hour (based on experience) plus auto and phone allowance
- Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Must be available for oncall emergencies and snow removal
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to maintenance repair requests
- Perform preventative maintenance as directed
- Prepare units for new residents
- Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems
- Hang prep and sand drywall
- Perform electrical repairs and minor plumbing work
- Maintain and repair appliances
- Paint common areas and apartments
- Ensure property grounds are clean organized and safe
- Assist with snow removal
- Participate in a rotating oncall schedule for emergency coverage during evenings weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated plumbing electrical or carpentry skills required
- HVAC certification or extensive experience is a plus
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical issues
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifting up to 85 lbs
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 35 years of experience in residential maintenance preferred
