Job Description
Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Hampton Inn Costa Mesa Newport Beach. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance operations ensuring all hotel facilities and systems operate efficiently and meet our high safety and guest satisfaction standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train maintenance staff ensuring effective team operations.
- Schedule regular maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and guest service requests.
- Manage maintenance inventory and procurement of supplies.
- Perform regular inspections of the hotels facilities to ensure functionality and safety.
- Coordinate with contractors and external service providers.
- Maintain records of inspections maintenance routines and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures and local state and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel maintenance operations and systems including HVAC electrical and plumbing.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff guests and external contractors.
- A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training or certification is a plus.
