Bachelors degree in child counseling development or psychology or related social science field or Six 6 or more years of QA experience in a Mental Health Agency or County Behavioral Health Program will be substituted as equivalent to a bachelors degree.
One 1 year residential care experience or equivalent inpatient psychiatric experience required.
One 1 year quality assurance experience required.
Valid California Drivers License required.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
The Quality Assurance/Medical Records Coordinator collaborates with the Q.A. Manager in their responsibility for the CRT Quality Assurance Program. The position is responsible for auditing documentation to reconcile with billing and oversees documentation of services by staff to assure conformity with MediCal County other outside agencies and internal standards and policies. QA/MR Coordinator manages all charts with deficiencies by processing them to the appropriate department for correction. QA/MR is responsible for ensuring the discharged chart is closed in the correct order and completed. Position oversees the Continuous Quality Assurance program medical records and records all CQI data.
Division/Program Overview:
The Valley Star Crisis Mobile Response Team operates from 6 PM to 8 AM offering rapid mental health assessments and crisis interventions. Serving all age groupschildren adolescents adults and older adultsthe program provides essential services for individuals needing immediate crisis intervention and stabilization.

Grade spread 28.51 45.62(In accordance with California law the salary grade for this position is listed above. Starting pay within the grade is determined based on experience internal equity and other factors permitted by law.
