Job Description
The Golf Club at Lansdowne is excited to announce the exceptional opportunity of Golf Shop Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.
Key Responsibilities of the Golf Shop Attendant:
- Assist the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals on the daily management of golf operations.
- Assist with golfer checkin and fee collection; control and manage play; reconciles daily tee sheets.
- Assist in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales merchandise sales and member/guest billing.
- Promotes all club golf activities.
- Assist with maintaining a clean orderly and wellstocked golf shop.
- Assist with maintaining proper records and billing of storage and lockers for membership.
- Assist golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games.
- Monitors all members scores reports handicapping to USGA and bills members.
- Follows established opening and closing procedures.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Compensation: $15 $17 / hour
Work Experience and Education Requirements:
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Previous golf course and/or retail experience preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Prefer some College or College Degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability on weekdays weekends holidays early mornings late evenings.
- Reliable attendance customer service/personality is big requirement.
