An Exciting Opportunity:
A Textiles Teacher is required at a wellestablished and goodratedsecondary school in Coventry for a September 2025 start. This position offers the chance to bring your creativity to the classroom and inspire students in the practical and theoretical aspects of textiles.
What the Textiles Teacher Will Do:
- Deliver engaging lessons on various aspects of textiles including design production and fabric technology.
- Support students through their practical projects providing guidance and expertise as they develop their skills.
- As a Textiles Teacher you will collaborate with the department to continuously improve curriculum delivery.
- Assess student progress and offer feedback to help students improve their technical skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Textiles Design or a related field.
- Experience teaching Textiles at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong passion for creative education and fostering students love for textiles.
