Job Description
- Model business requirements data perspective into a normalized denormalized star schema or other data model according to objectives.
- Model business requirements data perspective into a normalized denormalized star schema or other data model according to objectives.
- Model business requirements into nontabular data models such as columnar graph geographic time series or documentbased models.
- Model business requirements including data streams and integrations (API schema CRUD API).
- Design and implement reference data architectures aligned with the organizations data management strategy.
- Design and implement blueprints for organizational data frameworks defining how data is acquired stored consumed integrated and managed to enrich Data Lakes MDM (Master Data Management) and Datamarts.
- Define DataOps observability metrics across three key aspects:
- Operational health of data pipelines (duration latency retries time between executions).
- Datasetlevel health (availability freshness volume schema changes).
- Datalevel health (profiling within an expected envelope outlier and anomaly detection data drift and business rule enforcement).
- Ensure technical capabilities including scalability security performance data recovery reliability etc.
- Prepare business process reports.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture data modeling and solution design
- Strong technical expertise in Data and Analytics integration and exploration technologies particularly PowerBI and the Microsoft stack
- Proficiency in designing and implementing various data models (normalized denormalized star schema columnar graph geographic time series and documentbased)
- Experience with data streaming technologies and API design (REST GraphQL)
- Solid understanding of DataOps principles and observability metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
Highly desired:
- Experience in the Utilities sector particularly in retail
- Familiarity with SAP and/or Salesforce applications
- Knowledge of data governance security and compliance regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA)
- Proven track record of successful implementation of enterprisescale data solutions
