Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Data Governance Expert to join our growing team. In this role you will play a key part in establishing and maintaining a robust data governance framework for our clients. You will be responsible for defining data policies standards and procedures ensuring data quality and promoting data literacy across the organization. Your expertise in the Informatica suite and data quality best practices will be essential in driving successful data governance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks: Define data policies standards processes and metrics to ensure data quality security and compliance with regulations (e.g. GDPR).
- Utilize Informatica Suite: Leverage Informatica tools (e.g. Axon EDC IDQ) to automate data governance processes including data lineage data quality monitoring and metadata management.
- Drive data quality initiatives: Implement data quality rules perform data profiling and analysis and identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements define data ownership and promote data governance best practices.
- Establish data governance metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest data governance trends technologies and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Hold a Master University Degree in Computer Science (Business) Engineering or a specialized masters in Machine Learning or AI
- Proven experience: 5 years of experience in data governance with a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Informatica expertise: Handson experience with Informatica tools such as Axon Data Governance Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and PowerCenter.
- Data quality focus: Proven experience in implementing data quality initiatives including data profiling cleansing and validation.
- Strong communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate data governance concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Analytical mindset: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and resolve datarelated issues
- Fluent in English and proficiency in Dutch or French is mandatory..
