Job Description
The developer is a key role on a collaborative and agile project team and is responsible for the design and production of our worldclass business systems. These systems satisfy customer and organizational business requirements and enable Expeditors to set the standard for excellence in global logistics. The developer understands business problems and opportunities while applying technical skills to the design development and testing of applications and systems.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 24 years of professional software development experience
- Objectoriented programming analysis and design.
- Componentbased development with Java 8 Spring Spring Boot
- Experience with SQL and relational database design/development
- Experience with HTML CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
- Experience writing unit tests integration tests and endtoend.
- Operating systems include UNIX Linux Windows
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to understand code and write unit tests to ensure the delivery of the project.
- Collaborate with the Agile team and work as a team for the timely project delivery.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience in Microservices architecture
- Experience with Maven Junit Hibernate/JPA and IntelliJ IDE
- Experience with TypeScript RxJS and Jasmine Testing
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture Domain Driven Design CQRS
- Experience with Distributed Systems REST API design and Apache Kafka
