Job Description
Were expanding our team with two Senior Software Development Engineers to join our new Europebased Ads Product team. These roles will be instrumental in designing and implementing the technical foundations of our advertising products with a focus on backend systems and thirdparty platform integrations. Youll be working with a mix of technologies to create scalable highperformance solutions that seamlessly integrate with our existing platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust backend systems for our advertising platform
- Develop and maintain API integrations with thirdparty advertising platforms
- Write clean maintainable and welldocumented code that meets our high standards
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams across Rome2Rios Melbourne headquarters and Omios Berlin office
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of our engineering practices
- Help shape the technical direction of our advertising products
Qualifications :
- 5 years of software development experience
- Strong backend development skills with API design and integration experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. C# JavaScript Python)
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS GCP Azure)
- Familiarity with advertising platforms and ad tech integrations is a plus
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience working in agile remote teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
