Job Description
As the first point of contact for our patients our highly regarded DA/Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care. Your varied responsibilities will include:
- Greet patients and visitors.
- Schedule appointments and process payments and health insurance claims.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Manage patient files and ensure all documentation is accurate and uptodate.
- Assist our skilled dentist during various dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms instruments and materials.
- Provide excellent patient care and support.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
Successful candidates require/need to demonstrate:
- Certificate III in dental assisting or 2 years in the industry
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology infection control principles and basic treatment procedures
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Professional presentation
- Punctuality and Reliability
- Conscientious and enthusiastic
- Ability to take initiative
- Experience with implant procedures would be an advantage
- Experience with digital scanners would be an advantage
- Laboratory skills would be an advantage
- Reception skills would be an advantage
- Experience with Oasis software would be an advantage
