Job Description

YOUR TASKS

This position is responsible for counting controlling and monitoring all component inventory within the supermarkets and in the production areas for inventory accuracy for the sequencing department

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Inventory Management & Investigations Confirm inventory conduct cycle and physical counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • System & Documentation Accuracy Perform systematic inventory adjustments document all changes and generate reports.
  • Process Compliance & Improvements Develop work instructions manage sequencing and monitor phaseout materials.
  • ProblemSolving & DecisionMaking Quickly resolve issues anticipate potential problems and request deviations as needed.
  • CrossDepartment Collaboration Communicate effectively with leadership team members and internal customers.
  • Manufacturing & Planning Knowledge Apply understanding of manufacturing planning and tire processes.
  • Safety & Compliance Maintain a safe work environment and follow ESH guidelines.
  • Efficiency & Accuracy Ensure proper efficient and accurate of processes.
  • Positive Attitude & Teamwork Demonstrate commitment to goals teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Follow all plant ESH CBS quality and department processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as steel toes hearing protection etc.
  • This is a shift position 5 AM 5 PM) on the 223 schedule
  • The job is within a nonclimatecontrolled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise
  • The role involves various physical tasks including lifting with comprehensive training provided
  • This role starts at $19.00 an hour. If internal candidates are offered pay may change depending on current hourly rate

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two or more years experience in manufacturing
  • Must be willing to work selected shift for this position
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position
