As part of the Group Technology Solutions and Engineering team you will report to the Head of Technology Solutions and collaborate closely with fellow solution engineers and a wide range of business stakeholders. This role balances team leadership and crossfunctional collaboration where youll drive seamless solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals.
Lead and mentor a team responsible for the integrated Manhattan Active Omni technology solutions.
Oversee the development integration and maintenance of this integrated technology solution.
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and ensure solutions align with operational goals.
Champion best practices in software development DevOps and IT service management.
Monitor and optimise system performance reliability and security.
Stay up to date with emerging retail technology trends and drive innovation initiatives.
Foster a culture of collaboration knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications :
Were looking for someone who is passionate about finding robust efficient solutions for complex business problems and can deliver those solutions with the level of maintainability required by a large organisation. You should be capable of solving problems independently and possess a solid understanding of the technical environment in a large organisation including networking security change control processes project delivery and a strong grasp of programming concepts.
You will bring the following to the role:
8 years of experience in software development or technology leadership with a focus on retail technology.
Proven experience managing or leading a technical team in a largescale retail or enterprise environment.
Understanding of integration technologies such as APIs microservices and eventdriven architectures.
Exceptional problemsolving skills with a proactive mindset to tackle operational challenges.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A passion for technologydriven innovation and process improvement.
A willingness to share knowledge and contribute within a team.
Resilience and openness to change.
