You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailProvide a comprehensive range of professional simulation and technical support within specialised teaching and learning facilities applying both expertise and judgement to support simulation and practical teaching activities primarily within the discipline of Paramedicine.
The position will assist in the preparation and setup of material and equipment for clinical practice classes and will contribute to the maintenance and operation of instrumentation laboratories and supporting facilities. The appointee will be expected to provide technical expertise and support to staff and students.
Under the supervision of the Team Leader Laboratory and Preclinical Experience team you will work closely with the Scientific Officers Simulation Officers and Technical Officers to become part of a dynamic team. This is a collaborative Professional (nonAcademic) position where you will engage with academic colleagues and other professional staff.
About you
The successful candidate will have completion of a relevant Health based degree or associate diploma level qualification with subsequent relevant experience working within a student practical skills environment or a simulation or healthcare provider and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education training and/or relevant experience.

This is a continuing 80 parttime position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multisite University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith Universitys campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The fulltime equivalent base salary for a HEW Level 4 is in the range $73623 $77680 per annum plus 17 superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86139 $90886 per annum.
