About the Role
As a Purchaser at Consilium Safety Sweden Production you will play a key role in ensuring supply chain efficiency and developing longterm supplier partnerships to meet customer demands. Your focus will be on procurement excellence supplier development and cost optimization in a dynamic and technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ontime availability of components in line with agreements and conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business needs.
- Create and monitor purchase orders for direct materials.
- Provide and maintain demand forecasts for suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements while conducting regular performance reviews.
- Monitor and analyze procurement KPIs to drive continuous improvements.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives to enhance profitability.
- Represent procurement in new product implementations and crossfunctional projects.
- Conduct annual negotiations to optimize supplier contracts.
Who You Are
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Purchaser who thrives in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. You have:
- 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing company.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing services (EMS) is a plus.
- A technical or mechanical background is highly valued.
- The ability to quickly identify and address supply chain disruptions.
- Experience with Monitor ERP & Dynamics 365 (preferred).
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with planning engineering quality finance and production teams.
