Job Description
As part of Visas Global Sourcing team Technology Sourcing focuses on major strategic initiatives for Visas President/CTO. We are seeking an experienced and strategic PMO Director to lead our Project Management Office (PMO). This role involves coordinating projects and communications supporting Visas CTO CAO and CFO. It requires a strong leader capable of navigating complex leadership structures within the Technology Sourcing organization Visa Technology & Operations and stakeholder departments. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential to manage upwards.
Essential Functions
- Develop integrated plans and communications to track progress and dependencies in alignment with Visas CTO communication service standards.
- Drive awareness of workstreams by collaborating with project leads and Senior Executives providing timely and accurate reporting on progress to all stakeholders.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by contributing to a program management framework aligned with modern agile lean and design thinking practices.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks issues dependencies and impacts.
- Coordinate work for geographically distributed teams.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualification
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
- 10 years experience in Technology Procurement with Project Management certifications.
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is USD 161500 to 234200 per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
