About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 following relevant examination specifications and adapting to the needs of students joining midyear by providing advanced bridging materials and accelerated learning pathways.
- Foster a love of physics in students encouraging them to develop their analytical critical thinking and research skills and to appreciate the complexity of the physical world.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment and to contribute to the wider academic and extracurricular life of the school including participation in science competitions and research projects with a focus on team integration and collaboration.
- Organize and lead laboratory investigations research projects and sciencerelated activities promoting handson learning and scientific inquiry and providing opportunities for students to showcase their work.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics including advanced physical concepts and laboratory techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 including ALevel.
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE and ALevel Physics examinations.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate highachieving students including those joining midyear.
- A passion for physics and a commitment to fostering scientific inquiry and research skills.
- Ability to organize and lead laboratory investigations and research projects.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to quickly integrate into a school environment midyear.
