Food Technology Teacher Inspire Culinary Creativity in Northampton September 2025
Location: Northampton School Type: Outstanding Secondary School
A wellrespected Outstanding secondary school in Northampton is looking for a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join their team in September 2025. This is a fulltime permanent position focusing on KS3 and KS4 students. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for food cooking and teaching and will inspire students to excel in this practical subject.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver exciting and practical Food Technology lessons.
- Teach cooking skills food safety and nutrition principles.
- Create a safe and hygienic kitchen environment that promotes learning.
- Assess student progress and provide ongoing constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Food Technology Hospitality or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.
- Strong practical cookery skills and an enthusiasm for teaching food education.
