Job Description

Job Overview:

Are you a skilled problemsolver with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment. If you have a strong mechanical and electrical background a knack for troubleshooting and a commitment to safety and quality we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician II youll be the goto expert for maintaining and improving our manufacturing equipment. Your daytoday responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions using logical systematic approaches.
  • Performing preventive maintenance on motors conveyor systems and production machinery.
  • Installing and aligning mechanical drive systems.
  • Repairing or replacing faulty parts and components to restore equipment functionality.
  • Testing and repairing electrical systems wiring and components to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Training and mentoring junior technicians and operators on best practices.
  • Recommending process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in industrial manufacturing or a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (a 2year technical degree is a plus!.
  • Skills:

    • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
    • Proficiency with shop equipment (drill press band saw power tools etc..
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and OEM manuals.
    • Familiarity with CMMS and computer skills (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Certifications: Successful completion of relevant certification testing.
  • Soft Skills: A proactive attitude ability to multitask and a passion for mentoring others.
