Job Overview:
Are you a skilled problemsolver with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment. If you have a strong mechanical and electrical background a knack for troubleshooting and a commitment to safety and quality we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician II youll be the goto expert for maintaining and improving our manufacturing equipment. Your daytoday responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions using logical systematic approaches.
- Performing preventive maintenance on motors conveyor systems and production machinery.
- Installing and aligning mechanical drive systems.
- Repairing or replacing faulty parts and components to restore equipment functionality.
- Testing and repairing electrical systems wiring and components to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians and operators on best practices.
- Recommending process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in industrial manufacturing or a related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (a 2year technical degree is a plus!.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency with shop equipment (drill press band saw power tools etc..
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and OEM manuals.
- Familiarity with CMMS and computer skills (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Certifications: Successful completion of relevant certification testing.
- Soft Skills: A proactive attitude ability to multitask and a passion for mentoring others.
