Job Description
Position Overview:
True Scout Partners is seeking a dynamic Engineering Lead to oversee the vision design development and maintenance of an innovative eCommerce platform. In this fully remote role you will lead the development of both frontend and backend systems collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration with AIdriven technologies. You will also mentor team members and contribute to the overall technical strategy and .
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement maintain and iterate on a scalable eCommerce platform including the web front end and system back end with integration of thirdparty services and proprietary AI technologies.
- Ensure high performance scalability and security across the platform and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and feedback sessions while fostering team collaboration and growth.
- Lead the team by managing workflows delegating tasks and streamlining processes.
- Compile and present data insights and progress reports to leadership offering recommendations for improved functionality.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver a modern visually engaging user interface.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in the eCommerce and web development space.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years in software engineering with a focus on eCommerce platforms or related applications.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript React Node.js Python and experience with MVC architecture.
- CMS Platforms: Handson experience with platforms like Shopify Magento WooCommerce or custombuilt solutions.
- Databases: Proficiency in working with relational databases like MySQL.
- APIs: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and thirdparty service integrations.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills with experience working in crossfunctional teams.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor engineers ensuring efficient project delivery and fostering technical excellence.
