Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets developing insightful reports and supporting datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise in data warehousing ETL SQL and data visualization coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect analyze and interpret large datasets to support business decisions.
- Design develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker).
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from relational databases.
- Implement and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data transformation and integration.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into datadriven solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data governance.
- Identify trends patterns and opportunities through data analysis to improve business performance.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders ensuring complex data is communicated effectively to nontechnical audiences.
- Stay up to date with industry trends BI technologies and best practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in data analysis warehousing and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker).
- Ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong business acumen to align data insights with strategic goals.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Business Analytics) or equivalent experience.
- 58 years of experience in business intelligence data analytics or related roles.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts data modeling and ETL workflows.
- Handson experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
- Exposure to cloudbased data warehousing solutions (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift) is a plus.
- Experience with Python R or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive analytics is a plus.
