Job Description
The Emergency Department at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) has a great opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. In this fast paced position the ED RN position provides direct care evaluates outcomes consults with other specialties as required and adjusts nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Working well under pressure our RN s collaborate with other health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care. Our knowledgeable and passionate RN s continuously learn and grow within their roles at NVRH. NVRH has a very busy Emergency Department RNs must be able to learn quickly and be proactive team member. Our rural ED has 9 beds and sees over 14k patients per year. NVRH is located in Vermont s historic Northeast Kingdom a region known for its unspoiled beauty and four season recreational activities. A notforprofit independent hospital NVRH provides primary and preventive care surgical and specialty services inpatient and outpatient care and 24hour physicianstaffed emergency services.*Current VT or compact multi state RN License BLS ACLS required.*Minimum 3 years ER RN experience required. TNCC preferred. NVRH uses Meditech must be familiar with or able learn quickly. Credentialing must be uploaded no later than 5 business days prior to traveler start. Any delay in credentialing will result in a delayed start date.
Shift: Variable; 3 12 hour shifts per week
