Job Description
Required Experience:
The primary need is candidates with Java knowledge particularly in distribution
systems Hibernate MySQL and Spring Framework (a big priority)
Working with Java 11 and Java 21
7 years of experience as a Java engineer with a focus on microservices architecture
and Spring and Spring Boot.
Maven builds tool experience
Linux comfortability is required. You should be comfortable working with a Linux
command line and on a Mac.
Some Python experience is required but the majority of the work will be in Java.
Experience using Hibernate Redis and MySQL
Cloud platform experience: AWS and GCP preferred.
Qualifications:
Comfortable using Docker/Containerization
Expertise ensuring code quality with code reviews pair programming and meaningful
test cases
Proficiency in design patterns objectoriented programming and best coding practices
Expertise with Git for version control and collaboration including a thorough
understanding of branching strategies merge conflict resolution and merge vs rebase
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Nice To Have:
Experience with Anthropic API
Experience with OpenAI/ChatGPT
Experience with Dependency Parsing
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
LLM and Cloud
Experience working with Large Language Models. LangChain experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to devise solutions review code remove roadblocks
and accelerate development
Develop and optimize Java code written in Java 11 and Java 21
Foster a culture of collaboration and leadership. Encourage team members to work
together.
Ensure code quality through code reviews unit testing automation and adherence to
best practices
Leverage design patterns and objectoriented principles to build scalable software
Utilize Git for version control code reviews and project collaboration.
