JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Scrum Master to support a largescale SAP S/4HANA migration for a public sector client. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile methodologies ensuring efficient and effective delivery of SAP functionalities while guiding crossfunctional teams through the migration journey from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Option). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementations Agile frameworks and public sector compliance requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a Scrum Master for multiple SAP project teams ensuring adherence to Agile best practices.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Standups Sprint Planning Backlog Grooming Reviews and Retrospectives.
Collaborate with Product Owners and SAP functional/technical teams to define prioritize and refine the product backlog.
Coach teams on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation leveraging RISE with SAP Private Cloud.
Work closely with business stakeholders SAP consultants system integrators and cloud service providers to align Agile practices with the project roadmap.
Identify and mitigate risks dependencies and blockers impacting SAP S/4HANA deployment.
Ensure seamless coordination between SAP functional (Finance Logistics Procurement HR) and technical teams (Basis Security ABAP Integration).
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders SAP implementation partners and IT teams to ensure smooth project .
Drive transparency by reporting sprint progress velocity and key Agile metrics to leadership.
Ensure compliance with public sector regulatory and security requirements.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with 3 years of experience in SAP projects preferably in the public sector.
Handson experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migrations (preferably with RISE with SAP Private Cloud).
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum SAFe Kanban or Lean Agile).
Experience working with JIRA Azure DevOps or other Agile project management tools.
Strong facilitation conflict resolution and coaching skills.
Knowledge of SAP modules such as Finance (FI) Logistics (MM SD) Procurement or HR.
Understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) SAP Fiori and SAP integrations (SAP PI/PO API Management) a plus.
Familiarity with public sector policies compliance and procurement processes.
Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.
Exposure to cloud migration strategies and SAP Activate methodology.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM PSM) or SAFe Agilist preferred.
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with 3 years of experience in SAP projects, preferably in the public sector. Hands-on experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migrations (preferably with RISE with SAP Private Cloud). Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or Lean Agile).
