Job Description
We are seeking a Hardware Repair Technician to provide expert support in the installation maintenance and repair of hardware equipment across corporate locations. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with a wide range of devices including desktops laptops mobile devices printers and other peripherals ensuring they operate optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and deploy hardware devices including desktops laptops monitors printers and peripheral devices ensuring they meet company specifications.
- Provide onsite troubleshooting and repairs for all hardwarerelated issues including desktops laptops monitors mobile devices printers and associated peripherals.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on hardware devices to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
- Provide break/fix services and repair for networked printers and scanners including configuring troubleshooting and ensuring proper functionality.
- Perform hardware repairs and maintenance for mobile devices ensuring devices are functioning properly.
- Replace or repair nonwarranty hardware assets for endusers ensuring they meet operational requirements.
- Perform hardware upgrades including replacing components expanding memory upgrading storage and ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware assets and track repairs replacements and maintenance schedules.
- Document repairs upgrades and maintenance performed on hardware devices. Keep detailed records of incident resolutions and inventory updates.
- Provide highquality support to endusers ensuring timely and effective solutions to hardwarerelated issues.
- Monitor and ensure that hardware meets security standards including proper setup of antivirus software and compliance with company IT policies.
