- Support the corporate legal team working closely with a key partner and articulating/summer students
- Handle document management including filing legal documents maintaining corporate records and managing deadlines
- Assist with corporate and franchise transactions including incorporations share/asset purchases financing and agreements
- Prepare and review corporate filings under the Ontario Business Corporations Act Canada Business Corporations Act and franchise laws
- Communicate with clients regulatory bodies and other stakeholders on corporate and franchiserelated matters
- Use legal platforms to organize and maintain corporate minute books
Requirements
- Highly techsavvy
- Strong organizational skills and can manage document filing calendars and deadlines with precision
- Excellent attention to detail and can process legal documents accurately
- A team player with strong communication skills confident in engaging with lawyers and clients
- You re eager to grow in a corporate legal environment and take on increasing responsibilities
- Adaptable take directions well and are comfortable working in a structured taskdriven role
- Strong administrative background with exceptional technical skills
