Job Description
Job Overview
Our client a growing engineering firm is looking for a Structural Engineer/Designer to join their team in
either the Allentown or Reading area. This role will focus primarily on industrial projects with
opportunities to work on a wide variety of other projects such as commercial buildings educational
facilities and residential developments.
As part of the team you ll be involved in the design process from start to finish contributing to the
development of critical projects and helping foster longterm client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and analysis of structural systems including steel concrete masonry and
timber.
Assist in preparing construction documents.
Attend client meetings alongside project engineers.
Collaborate with clients and project managers to define project scope budget and timelines.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
B.S. in Civil Architectural or a related engineering field.
35 years of experience in a design or consulting role.
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or eligibility to sit for the Professional
Engineering (PE) exam within 23 years.
Proficiency in REVIT and/or BIM software.
Strong ability to produce engineering drawings.
Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
Effective communicator with both internal teams and external clients.
Valid driver s license.
Ability to obtain necessary PA clearances (Act 34 114 and 151.
