Job Description
Job Title: TMS Product Manager
Location: Onsite in Atlanta GA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Retail Transportation Management System (TMS) Product Manager with a proven track record of 8 years in the transportation and logistics industry. The successful candidate will lead the development enhancement and management of our Retail TMS product offerings ensuring alignment with market needs customer requirements and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
o Develop a comprehensive product strategy and vision for our Retail Transportation Management System taking into account market trends customer feedback and competitive landscape.
o Define clear product goals and objectives that align with the companys overall mission
Product Roadmap Planning:
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering design sales and marketing to create a welldefined product roadmap.
o Prioritize features enhancements and integrations based on market demand and business impact.
Requirement Gathering and Definition:
o Engage with customers industry experts and internal stakeholders to gather detailed product requirements and use cases. Translate gathered information into clear and actionable product specifications.
Product Development Oversight:
o Lead the product development process by working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and highquality delivery of product features.
o Provide guidance feedback and direction to development teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
o Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the Retail TMS product.
o Regularly assess product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Stakeholder Communication:
o Cultivate strong relationships with key clients partners and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for productrelated inquiries and updates.
Industry Expertise:
o Stay uptodate with industry trends regulations and innovations in the retail transportation and logistics sector.
o Leverage this knowledge to guide the evolution of the Retail TMS product.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in business engineering logistics or a related field (Masters preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in product management within the transportation and logistics industry with a strong focus on Retail TMS solutions
Indepth knowledge of transportation management systems logistics processes and supply chain operations.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products preferably TMS solutions.
Manhattan TMS is mandatory
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
