Business Development Director Automotive Sector

Position Requirements:
Stable career history no more than three jobs in the past 10 years.
Deep understanding of the automotive industry specifically how car manufacturers sell vehicles.
Strong knowledge of the relationship between automakers and dealerships.
Familiarity with automaker revenue streams and their influence on dealership sales strategies.
Must reside within a commutable distance to metro Detroit.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
Build and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers at Fortune 1000 companies.
Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
Develop customized engagement solutions that drive business performance.
Lead complex sales cycles ranging from three to twelve months.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of direct B2B sales experience targeting Fortune 1000 companies.
Proven track record of new business development in professional services.
Experience managing largevolume sales $250K per deal).
Strong background in long and short sales cycles.
Highly motivated resultsdriven and able to thrive in a performancebased compensation model.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary of $135K plus uncapped commission and performancebased bonuses.
